Michelle Pfeiffer shared the image on her official Instagram account along with a sweet caption celebrating Evangeline Lilly’s birthday. Check it out below.
“Happy Birthday @evangelinelillyofficial … my little wasp!” Pfeiffer wrote. “I cannot for the life of me remember what we have in our mouths here but it must have made sense at the time.”
We’re loving how Michelle Pfeiffer referred to her co-star as her “little wasp.” After all, both Pfeiffer and Evangeline Lilly played the Wasp in the Ant-Man films. Pfeiffer’s Janet van Dyne is the original Wasp while Lilly’s character Hope van Dyne took the mantle in Ant-Man and The Wasp. It’s unclear what the two have in their mouths but it does make for a cool photo.
It’s great to see that Michelle Pfeiffer and Evangeline Lilly are getting along well while they are working on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Hopefully, this means we’ll get to see Pfeiffer suiting up along with her movie daughter in the sequel. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see the two in action next year.
Ant-Man 3 will also bring back Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. The sequel will also introduce Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, a Variant of He Who Remains who appeared in the final episode of Loki. In addition to that, Kathryn Newton will take over the role of Cassie Lang in the movie.
Ant-Man 3 and The Wasp: Quantumania will hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
