In a blink-or-you’ll-miss-it moment in Deadpool 2, one of the funniest moments in the movie perhaps, is the cameo appearance of Brad Pitt as the Vanisher. True to his name, he is invisible most of the time, that is, until he hit some electricity cables.
As reported by ComicBook.com, during the press junket of Bullet Train on BBC Radio 1, Brad Pitt looks back on his Deadpool 2 cameo saying, “Pretty much the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Dave’s an old friend of mine.”
Pitt added, “We met when he was my stunt double starting with Fight Club and all the way up until about ‘04. Then he went off and became a good director, which is rare!” Pitt even detailed how he got the cameo role, “He and Ryan called, and like, ‘Why not?’”

That amazing albeit short moment, was, in fact, the first-ever superhero appearance of Brad Pitt in his whole career.
David Leitch, the director of Deadpool 2, also took the helm in directing Bullet Train where he and Brad Pitt worked together again in the story of five assassins on a Japanese bullet train where their assignments were all related to each other.
Unfortunately, it is still unknown whether Brad Pitt would do another cameo on Deadpool 3 which is currently in the works under the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role as the Merc with a mouth, finally forming part of the huge franchise.
Brad Pitt leads a star-studded cast in Bullet Train with Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Michael Shannon, Benito A Martínez Ocasio, and Hiroyuki Sanada.
Bullet Train is currently in theaters.
