Call of the Night is a romantic and supernatural anime part of the summer season. It follows Kou Yamori, an insomniac middle school student who spends the night with the eccentric and beautiful vampire Nazuna Nanakusa. Will they end up together for the rest of their lives?
Call of the Night English Dub Release Date
On their Otakon panel, HIDIVE announced that Call of the Night will be dubbed in English. It will be released in September. However, no exact date has been announced as of this writing. Call of the Night is currently available in its original Japanese dub with English subtitles. Because HIDIVE is a new streaming platform, not much is known about its offerings. Aside from exclusive anime shows like Ya Boy Kongming and Tokyo Mew Mew New, the platform also offers English-dubbed anime series. Furthermore, HIDIVE allows you to create private chat rooms, and the good news is that it supports three profiles per account. HIDIVE’s services are available for $4.99 per month. However, depending on your location, the streaming platform may or may not be available on your end. The anime is based on Kotoyama’s manga of the same name, who also worked on the Dagashi Kashi manga series. As of this writing, Call of the Night has 11 manga volumes and is still running. The manga has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2019.
Call of the Night English Dub Cast
The English dub cast for Call of the Night is yet to be announced. However, expect to hear more news as Call of the Night’s English dub will debut this coming September. Meanwhile, Gen Sato as Kou Yamori leads the Japanese dub cast of Call of the Night. He was the voice behind Chrome in Dr. Stone, Yusuke in Fruits Basket, and Pi-chan in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. Meanwhile, Nazuna Nanakusa is voiced by Sora Amamiya. She is the voice behind Honoka in The Irregular at Magic High School, Aqua in Konosuba, and Chizuru Mizuhara in Rent-A-Girlfriend. Other cast members include Yumiri Hanamori as Akira Asai, Haruka Tomatsu as Seri Kikyo, Eri Kitamura as Nico Harata, Shizuka Itou as Kabura Honda, Naomi Ozora as Midori Kohakobe, and Azumi Waki as Hatsuka Suzushiro.
