Following the release of the sixth episode last week, fans have taken to Twitter to share their disappointment with several scenes. These scenes featured both spotty and wrong animation, as well as reused moments from the previous season. One of the moments which was panned by fans is the running scene in the school from episode 6. While not too apparent when in motion, when the episode is paused, you’ll see that the students are running on top of one another instead of on the ground. Aside from the running scene, Twitter user @Namaryuu spotted a moment in season 2 that seemingly shows how certain frames from season 1 were reused. As speculated by the tweet, this was done likely due to schedule issues which limited the production time. Even though there are fans that are critical of the animation quality of Classroom of the Elite Season 2, there are those who don’t mind them and are still enjoying the series. Specifically, it was mentioned that the story of the anime is still good, especially for those who have read the source material. Looking at the show’s ratings, it continues to get good reviews. For instance, the second season currently has an 8.03 score on MyAnimeList – that’s a bit higher than the first season. Classroom of the Elite is an anime series by Lerche that’s based on the light novel of the same name by Shogo Kinugasa. The novel series ran from May 2015 to September 2019. The series is set in a future Japan where the Japanese Government formed the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nursing School which was made to teach the next generation of people with a high degree of freedom to mimic real life. The story follows Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, a student who is highly intelligent, though he is assigned to Class-D which is where inferior students are put into. Soon, his life begins to change and his school life gets turned in on its head. Classroom of the Elite Season 2 is currently airing. Season 3 of the anime is also confirmed to release next year.
