While Netflix has not officially confirmed the renewal, but given that the social media accounts for the Elite has confirmed the cast of Season 7, it’s about as official as we’ll get. The most interesting part of the renewal is the return of one of Elite’s original cast members. Just in case you’re not familiar, Elite is a Spanish show created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona, and follows a group of teens attending the fictional prestigious high school, Las Encinas. The series has tackled various themes such as, racism, religion, sexuality, and social and class differences while building up an intriguing mystery. The show is described as a mix of TV shows Riverdale, Gossip Girl, and How to Get Away with Murder.
Elite Season 7 Release Date Prediction
According to the show’s social media accounts, the production for Elite Season 7 will start “in the coming weeks”, but Netflix hasn’t announced an official release date yet. Elite Season 5 was released on April 8, 2022, and Season 6 is set to release on Nov. 18, 2022, so their release dates were only a few months apart. Post-production stage for Season 7 is not expected to last long, so with that being said, it’s likely that the seventh season will arrive sometime in 2023. We will update this article with more information when we get more official updates from Netflix. As expected, Elite Season 7 is not included in Netflix’s programming slate for November 2022.
Elite Season 7 Cast: Who’s returning and who are the newcomers?
Unfortunately, we still don’t know if any of the cast members from Elite Season 6 will return for the seventh season, but we’ll find out soon enough. However, according to recent updates, Omar Ayuso will reprise his role as Omar Shanaa in Elite Season 7. If you’ve already caught up to the show, Ayuso left the teen drama after Season 5. Elite Season 7 Plot & Season 6 Spoilers
Since Elite Season 6 is not out yet, it’s hard to speculate what Season 7 will be about, but with the return of Omar Ayuso, we now know that his character will return to the story. For now, we can look at the official synopsis for Season 6: That doesn’t really reveal much other than the confirmation that Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) is dead after the events of Season 5. Other than Omar, Cayetana (Georgina Amorós)and Rebeka (Claudia Salas) are also not in Season 6. You can read more details about Season 6 here.
