King Joffrey Lannister Reveals Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Unfortunate Fate in House of the Dragon
Since House of the Dragon was originally just a fragment of Westeros’ history in Game of Thrones, the era was mentioned several times. If you are paying attention, King Joffrey Lannister had already revealed how House of the Dragon concluded, particularly the fate of Rhaenyra Targaryen and his brother, Daemon.
In Game of Thrones Season 3 Episode 4, King Joffrey explained to Margaery Tyrell how Rhaenyra Targaryen, arguably the main character of House of the Dragon faced demise at the hands of his brother Daemon Targaryen.
Shireen Baratheon Explained The Dance of the Dragons Battles to Ser Davos
Besides Joffrey Lannister’s huge spoiler about Rhaenyra, little Shireen Baratheon also sheds some light on Dance of the Dragon battles, explaining to Ser Davos Seaworth how the dance bloodily ended for the House Targaryen.
Although King Geoffrey and Shireen’s foreshadowing might be unsettling to fans who don’t love spoilers, the plot is just sticking to George R.R. Martin’s source material, Fire & Blood. However, House of the Dragon could still alter some parts of the book, just like what they did to Game of Thrones. It’s safe to say that despite knowing what happens in the source material, the writers, together with George R.R. Martin, could still surprise the fans.
