Speaking with Variety, Jackman revealed that two of his favorite superhero films didn’t come from Marvel which may come as a surprise to most fans. In fact, the Australian actor says that the 1978 Superman film starring Christopher Reeve and The Dark Knight trilogy are among his favorite comic book movies, calling them game-changers of the genre. He said: “My favorite superhero movie. Growing up, the first Superman. That was a game-changer. Dick Donner movie, Christopher Reeve. I’m gonna say, I’m thinking one of the Nolan Batmans.
