With Indiana Jones 5 set to be Harrison Ford’s final return as the titular character, there are speculations around Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Helena taking over the torch for him in future films, should there be any additional ones.
Returning for the fifth Indiana Jones along with Harrison Ford is John Rhys-Davies as Jones’ good loyal friend Sallah. However, Ke Huy Quan’s Short Round and Shia Labeouf’s Mutt Williams will reportedly not be reprising their roles. Joining the cast along with Phoebe Waller-Bridge is Mads Mikkelsen, the villain Voller, a former Nazi scientist working for NASA.
Indiana Jones 5 is slated for release in theaters on June 30, 2023. Meanwhile, Harrison Ford is set to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as General Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross in Captain America: New World Order and Thunderbolts.
