The Dragon Prince Season 4 Release Date
The Dragon Prince Season 3 aired on Netflix in 2019. And ever since then, filming for the show has been on hiatus partly because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Another reason for the long break was that several women accused Ehasz (one of the creators) and Wonderstorm of creating a hostile working environment during the production of the series. These allegations have been denied by both parties. As of this writing, there hasn’t been any update. While Netflix has confirmed that the animated series will return for a fourth season this year, it has not given an official release date. The Dragon Prince Season 4 will not be coming to Netflix in July 2022. But we should expect it to be released later this year. The show is expected to be released in November 2022.

In fact, the description on the YouTube video raises another mystery: “Many questions remain following The Battle of the Storm Spire, but only one continues to haunt the very heart of Xadia: “Who is Aaravos?” Where did this enigmatic Startouch elf come from? What does he want? And what price will our heroes have to pay to stop him?”

The Dragon Prince Season 4 Trailer
You can watch the official The Dragon Prince Season 4 trailer here: The Dragon Prince Season 4 trailer starts off with a scroll being opened to reveal a sky filled with constellations. This is quite similar to previous seasons where Aaravos opens a map of Xadia. The camera then takes us to the cosmos before bringing us back to Earth. We see Viren come into the screen. And as he reaches for the sky, he starts turning into stone. As soon as he becomes a rock, we see a hand picking him up. And as it turns out, the hand belongs to Aaravos. Viren becomes a miniature pawn from a chess piece and Aaravos smiles coyly at him. The screen then flips to feature the title of the Season and display the names of the show’s creators. There’s not much detail we can decipher from the trailer. But if you’re a huge fan of the show, things are looking exciting for the upcoming season.
