Whilst not being a passenger of Flight 828, he has his fair share of experiences with the divine consciousness and Callings. He has been able to cheat death multiple times but it seems that in the finale of Manifest Season 4 Part 1, it is finally his time. Is it really the end of Zeke in the series?
Is Zeke Really Dead in Manifest Season 4?
In Manifest Season 4, Zeke plays a huge role. He is known to be a character who got to cheat death, more than once, from the blizzard where he was resurrected only after a year, to managing to escape his Death Date after saving Cal from the frozen lake which gave him empathetic powers. The first death he got was supposedly his time, but fate had other plans so he got a Death Date of his own, and two days before that, he married Michaela. His second death was saving Cal from the lake, Zeke was revived and upon his return, he has empathetic powers, feeling others’ feelings. To date, Zeke is the only one who managed to do this: escape the Death Date, and on the second time, he even gained powers from it. However, this time, it is final. Zeke is dead. No resurrections this time, Zeke calls Michaela to say his final farewell to the love of his life.

Zeke realizes that the only way to save everyone from the looming apocalypse is to save Cal and with his empathetic powers, Zeke absorbed the pain Cal is in and in turn, he cures Cal’s cancer but it means that he will be the one dying. Zeke knows the consequence. Zeke fully accepted his fate. Even the creator of Manifest, Jeff Rake, confirmed that the time has come for Zeke in an interview with TVInsider, “Zeke is really dead, but dead is a loaded word on Manifest. Sometimes characters manage to find ways back to other characters dead or alive. But Zeke is dead-dead.” Whether Zeke could return to Manifest Season 4 Part 2 is still ambiguous. See, Grace didn’t return as a person, she appeared as Callings. So, it is possible that Zeke could do the same, too. Manifest Season 4 Part 1 is now streaming on Netflix. Part 2 has no release date yet.
