The Warner Bros. Japan YouTube channel streamed a special JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean program which also dropped updates on the franchise’s other projects. The big one was undoubtedly a cool reveal of Risotto Nero’s character design in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R as it was announced that the villain will join the game’s roster as its first DLC.
Risotto Nero was a major antagonist in the manga and anime’s fifth part Golden Wind. He was the leader of the Hitman Team aka La Squadra Esecuzioni who sends his men after Giorno Giovanna and the rest of Team Bucciarati. Risotto is determined to kidnap the Boss’ daughter Trish Una in an effort to discover her father’s true identity. Like most of the members of Passione, Risotto is a Stand user and controls Metallica, a Stand that can manipulate metals and iron.
We’re loving the idea of Risotto Nero finally showing up in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R as this means we’ll finally get to see his Stand in action. Although it has not yet been confirmed, there is a possibility that the character and his stand Metallica will be released in early November. Stay tuned for more updates on this story. In addition to the update on the video game, it was also confirmed that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is getting more episodes. Part 3, which will consist of 14 new episodes that will adapt the last chapters of the manga, is set to premiere on Netflix on December 1, 2022.
