Sure, Game of Thrones has given Jon Snow a complete ending, but there are several directions HBO can take his story. So, what will be the Jon Snow sequel’s possible storyline? By the looks of it, it may have something to do with the Wildlings.
Jon Snow and the Wildling Princess
According to Screen Rant, the story of Val, a Wildling princess, was cut from the series. She was the sister of Mance’s (Ciarán Hinds) wife and had become a major part of Jon’s storyline in the book. Though HBO’s take of Jon’s storyline seems fine without her, it may have become stronger if she has been part of it. She may give the family and life that he dreams of, but she, too, is a strong player of the Wildlings. He may have the happily ever after that he wants with her, which he often refuses, making his arc more impactful if it’s seen on the small screen. With that said, Val may play a key role in the upcoming Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow sequel if the bosses include her in the story.
Val as Jon Snow’s Villain
If Val isn’t Jon’s love interest in the upcoming sequel, she can be his main villain. So, how will that play out? Jon and Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) went North with the remaining Wildlings members. So, if the sequel focuses on this storyline, it may introduce Val into the scene as someone among their ranks. Viewers may see her as a “fierce, courageous, beautiful and skilled Wildling” who can be her own character and a love interest for Jon.
