Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 201 Recap
Picking up from where Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 200 left off, Chapter 201 continues adding a whole new layer to the culling game. Despite the American President’s reluctance to use the Japanese Jujutsu Sorcerer, Cyrus Veil insists on the potential of cursed energy as an alternative energy source that he wants the U.S. to tackle before other, competing countries. Veil, moreover, suggests that Jujutsu Sorcerer’s brains are different compared to the rest of the population’s so he proposes an even more horrifying idea: to not only abduct them, but also study them. Cyrus misrepresents Jujutsu facts and the way curses work in Jujutsu Kaisen to the point of suggesting that doing what he proposes would protect, rather than endanger the sorcerers. Despite having second thoughts and barely being able to discuss the proposed actions, the President reluctantly allows the hunting of Jujutsu Sorcerers while they are all in one place. The president’s adviser further endorses the hunt, thinking that if the U.S. doesn’t cooperate, Kenjaku will then move on to make the same proposal to other countries. Yuji, Megumi, and the others can only watch in confusion as an abnormally large number of Jujutsu sorcerers gather in a colony where, if all goes according to plan, they might not stand a chance.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 202 Spoilers
So far, the schedule of Jujutsu Kaisen has involved 10-chapter batches in different colonies, as part of the wider Culling Game. Chapter 201, however, moves on to a different level, adding a new layer as unprecedented numbers of Sorcerers gather in the colony. The political intrigue adds an entirely new layer and we can’t wait to see more. The pre-release Reddit thread suggests that leaked content includes a lot of dialogue between Yuki and Tengan, while Tsoso and Yuki might face Kenjaku. Fans are particularly worried about Choso’s fate in this one.
Of course, the fight was also long anticipated, so fans can’t wait to see how it will unfold, in the backdrop of the biggest challenge Jujutsu Sorcerers have faced.
