Kang Tae Oh Fan Meeting 2022: Actor’s Agency Announces Date for his Online Meet-and-Greet
In a report cited by Korea Joongang Daily, Kang Tae Oh’s agency, Man of Creation, shared that the actor is set to have his online fan meet on August 31. Dubbed as the TikTok Stage Connect: SweeTaeOh the actor will be able to meet his fans from 190 countries virtually. Interestingly, in the upcoming meet and greet, Kang Tae Oh will show his never before seen childhood photos and talk about the behind-the-scenes stories on the set of Extraordinary Attorney Woo and his working relationship with co-stars Park Eun Bin and Kang Ki Young. On top of it, fans will be able to virtually interact with the actor through games and various activities. In addition to Kang Tae Oh’s fan meet, a page was set up for the upcoming event where fans can comment with their message for the actor. Lucky winners selected from this event will receive invitations to the online meet-and-greet. Besides the 28-year-old star, Park Eun Bin will also hold her first ever fan meet since she made her debut as a child star in 1998. According to Koreaboo, the actress will have her meet and greet, dubbed as 2022 Park Eun Bin 1st FAN MEETING on September 3 at 4 PM at the Unjeong Green Campus Auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University. In a separate report, tickets for the upcoming fan meeting were sold immediately. According to KBizoom, Park Eun Bin’s fan meeting which started on August 12 at 8 pm was sold out in just 10 seconds since the reservations were opened. Due to this, fans requested to increase the number of available tickets or add another fan meeting. Kang Tae Oh’s Enlistment
As mentioned, Kang Tae Oh’s fan meeting comes ahead of his nearing enlistment for the mandatory military service. At the height of his K-drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, rumor sparked that the actor is gearing up for his upcoming enlistment. The news was confirmed by his agency saying “It is true that Kang Tae-oh must enlist within this year, but his military warrant has not yet been issued,” a representative from Man of Creation shared as obtained by SBS News. Moreover, Kang Tae Oh’s agency also revealed which department the actor wished to join. “The actor wished to go to the special forces including UDT or the ROK Marine Corps, but is expected to join the regular army as early as late August to September,” the agency added. It is safe to say that Extraordinary Attorney Woo will be his last major project ahead of his enlistment. With this, the actor also spoke about his enlistment and said “Due to this drama, I’m so glad that I can confidently say ‘I’ll be back safely.’ I feel more reassured than disappointed,” he tells Elle Korea as obtained by Soompi. Besides Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Kang Tae Oh also appeared in Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young’s K-drama Doom at Your Service, as well as Run On with Shin Se Kyung, Choi Sooyoung, and Im Siwan.
