According to the rumor, former Disney CEO Bob Chapek was responsible for the decision to strip Kennedy of her role but that’s where things start getting interesting.You see, Bob Iger is once again stepping in as the House of Mouse’s main chief and Chapek will no longer be part of the company. According to The Hot Mic with Jeff and John (via Star Wars News Net), Iger’s surprising reinstatement at Disney is a huge blessing in disguise for Kennedy who is reportedly keeping her position as Lucasfilm boss moving forward.
