The poster also reminds fans that Kengan Ashura Season 2 is coming sometime in 2023, but Netflix hasn’t confirmed an official release date for the action-packed anime series. For those unfamiliar, Kengan Ashura is based on the manga series of the same title by Yabako Sandrovich and Daromeon, receiving a sequel series titled Kengan Omega that’s still ongoing. Netflix released the first season of the anime series in 2019 with a total of 24 episodes, thanks to the streamer collaborating with Larx Entertainment, the same studio behind the recently-released Tekken: Bloodline. The first season was split into two volumes, with the first being released in June 2019, and the second part releasing in October of the same year. With the confirmation of the second season, it’s likely that the voice actors of Season 1 will return, and that includes Tatsuhisa Suzuki, who voiced Tokita Ohma. For the English version of the anime, Ohma is voiced by Kaiji Tang, a voice actor known for voicing the iconic mentor Satoru Gojou in Jujutsu Kaisen, and the villainous Sanemi Shinazugawa in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, and many others. In the Japanese version, Cho is the voice of Kazuo Yamashita, and in the English version, it was Keith Silverstein who voiced the salaryman. Kengan Ashura Season 1 is currently available to stream on Netflix, and you can read the official description from the streaming service below: “Ohma Tokita enters a hidden world where corporate disputes are settled in brutal gladiator bouts. Forget the money, he just wants to fight – and win.” If you want to know more details about the upcoming season, check out everything we know about Kengan Ashura Season 2.
