Glass Onion is the second movie in the Knives Out franchise. Knives Out is a mystery film created by Rian Johnson, who was inspired by classic whodunit novels, exactly like the works of author Agatha Christie. Knives Out was a success, establishing private detective Benoit Blanc as the modern sleuth who shares the same wit and comedic gifts as Hercule Poirot. The first movie revolved around the alleged murder of a family patriarch who hands down his fortune to his nurse, leaving nothing for his children and their families. Everyone is a suspect until more mysteries arise, but Blanc finds out the truth in the end. Now that Glass Onion is confirmed, here is everything we know about the Knives Out sequel.

Daniel Craig will return as Benoit Blanc in this second Knives Out movie. Craig is also ready to play Benoit Blanc in the third Knives Out movie if the opportunity comes since he is now available after his final appearance as James Bond in No Time To Die, released in 2021.
In his interview with The New York Times for his last Bond movie, Craig described how Benoit Blanc is his next most iconic role after Bond. Craig was also featured on the October 2022 Empire Issue cover as Benoit Blanc.
