LE SSERAFIM Confirms Japanese Debut
LE SSERAFIM formally opened social media accounts ahead of its planned Japanese debut. The official Twitter page of the girl group finally unveiled a sneak peek of its first Japanese single. The photo in question shows LE SSERAFIM’s name alongside a cryptic logo and the texts “Fearless” and “2023.01.25 release.” It will be the rookie girl group’s first Japanese single since its official debut in South Korea in May. The girl group will reportedly perform alongside TWICE and IVE on the New Year’s Eve music show. “It’s an honor to stand on such a big stage so soon. Due to today’s scheduled activities, three members could not attend today, but we want to showcase an awesome performance with all the members at Kōhaku Uta Gassen,” Sakura said. Kōhaku Uta Gassen will take place on December 31 at the NHK Hall in Shibuya City in Tokyo, Japan.
LE SSERAFIM Makes History on Circle Weekly Charts
Ahead of its Japanese debut, LE SSERAFIM wowed fans by making it to the Circle Chart’s rankings from November 13 to 19. For the aforesaid week, LE SSERAFIM’s Antifragile scored the No. 2 spot. Younha’s Event Horizon topped the list, while (G)I-DLE’S Nxde, BLOCK B Zico’s New Thing, and NewJeans’ Hype Boy secured third to fifth places, respectively. The girl group’s song also remained on its No. 1 spot on Global K-pop Chart. Following LE SSERAFIM are (G)I-DLE (Nxde), BLACKPINK (Shut Down and Pink Venom at Nos. 3 and 4), and NewJeans (Hype Boy).
