The Cosmic Circus’ Lizzie Hill reported on Twitter that she is hearing some concerning updates about the production of Echo although she didn’t specify what kind of behind-the-scenes trouble the project allegedly has at the moment. “I’ve been hearing things lately, from previously reliable sources, that make me very very concerned about #Echo. Previous Marvel prods have been reported to have problems but have come out ok, so I generally don’t get that concerned, but… I am concerned. Hoping I’m wrong to be,” she wrote.
When another user asked Hill about the details of the concerns that she is hearing about the series, she declined to give out the specifics and iterated that she will not be reporting about it for now. Later on, Hill clarified in a follow-up tweet that the concern that she is hearing is not related to Cox, her character, or the Daredevil/Kingpin storyline, but is more on the production itself. So far, neither Marvel nor any of the major trades have confirmed or reported about the alleged behind-the-scenes trouble that the project is facing so we may want to take this with a grain of salt. However, Hill has provided a lot of accurate scoops before so there is a possibility that her information is legit. Whether the series does have production issues at the moment or not, hopefully, Marvel Studios will be able to address it and make sure that the quality is up to their highest standard which is what they’ve been known for ever since the success of the MCU happened. It’s interesting to see if these alleged concerns will be affecting its release next year.
