Nicole Pacent Joins Criminal Minds Revival
Deadline announced that Westworld and Call Me Kat alum Pacent will play a recurring role in the newly revived series. She will portray the role of Rebecca, a Department of Justice (DOJ) lawyer. She will be going to the BAU to deliver “unfortunate news” about the unit’s operation in the future. By the looks of it, she will be bringing bad news. They also have to face the most dangerous UnSub in the series so far. The evildoer in question is the notorious criminal who took advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to create a group of serial killers. The group has become operational after the government begins relaxing the SOPs. Aside from Pacent, Midnight Mass star Zach Gilford joined the series as Elias Voit. The show’s trailer hints at the possibility that he can be the new UnSub. Prentiss’ Other Criminal Minds Revival Problems
Meanwhile, in addition to the several issues that the BAU has to face, meeting the new UnSub may only be a fraction of the problem. Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) will face a new conflict in the Criminal Minds revival. It will affect her professional position as a micromanaging deputy director will disagree with her leadership as the BAU Unit Chief and question her work.
