Recently, the MCU directors expressed their desire to make the adaptation of the iconic comic book storyline and it led to people automatically assuming that they were returning to the billion-dollar franchise to direct the film.However, it looks like that isn’t the case as Joe and Anthony claim that they haven’t spoken to Kevin Feige or not yet, at least. When asked by MTV News correspondent Josh Horowitz about their potential involvement in the Secret Wars project, they simply said that “there are no conversations [with Marvel]".Joe and Anthony also took the opportunity to say that they won’t be present at Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con panel this weekend despite the fandom’s collective hopes.
