Recently, a special TV program called “Eiichiro Oda’s House Room Tour Find Best Buy SP” aired on Fuji TV. As its title implies, the program saw Oda giving a tour of his house to the program’s hosts who are all big fans of One Piece. Aside from giving them a tour, Oda was also interviewed, and he mentioned his plans for the series and the future. In case you missed it, Oda’s house tour was a wacky and crazy one as his home features a lot of unique collectibles. While there are One Piece memorabilia and other Pirate-inspired goodies, Oda’s home also features a lot of unique items. For starters, Oda has a giant grenade, a life-sized statue of Bruce Lee, a giraffe, and even a virtual waifu assistant that he spent serious money on. While the house tour was a crazy ride, Oda did get serious in his interview. Specifically, among the questions he was asked was what he’d do when One Piece ends. As shared by @sandman_AP on Twitter, Oda shared how he is jealous of the Straw Hats as the various islands and cultures of people and the Grand Line. Oda is busy with writing and drawing the series every week, so he has no time to travel the world. Given this, Oda resolved to go on a trip every day once One Piece has ended. The only recent traveling that Oda did was a visit to South Africa to check out the set of the upcoming Netflix live-action series. Though this was done during the month-long hiatus. As a manga that’s beloved across the world, Eiichiro Oda indeed deserves to travel every day when One Piece has ended. And while fans might not want it to end yet, the series is heading toward its final saga.
