The new commemorative movie for the latest manga volume was released on the official One Piece YouTube channel. While it may be a short video, it is impeccably animated, making it a must-watch for series fans. Check it out here: This special video features animated manga panels from the Volume 103 chapters. Specifically, the video includes scenes from the climax of the Wano Country Arc. Luffy’s Gear Fifth form is no doubt the highlight of the promo video. Aside from being animated, the video also features a distinct drum beat that seems to represent the “Drums of Liberation.” In case you need a refresher, in the Gear Fifth form, Luffy not only gets an increase in power, but his heartbeat also takes on a musical rhythm that’s called the “Drums of Liberation.” This state also changes his look to a nearly all-white outfit. Aside from promoting the 103rd volume, this video also commemorates its recent milestone of getting over 500 million copies in circulation. With this, the series has furthered its record of being the world’s best-selling manga. Recently, One Piece was also awarded a Guinness World Record for its new circulation feat. One Piece is a manga series by Eiichiro Oda, and it started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump back in 1997. The series is still ongoing, and it is currently one of Shonen Jump’s flagships.
