Percy Jackson and The Olympians Series: Who Are The Cast of the Reboot on Disney Plus?
Percy Jackson and The Olympians will be the reboot of the beloved Percy Jackson movies and it will follow the story of the 12-year-old demigod, Percy Jackson, who thinks he is just an ordinary kid but he finds out that he is a demigod when Zeus accused him of stealing the lightning bolt. Now, Percy has to prove that he isn’t the Lighting Thief. Based on the young adult novels of the same name by Rick Riordan, the author will be sitting as one of the producers of the series which will be under Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz as the showrunners. The cast of the Percy Jackson reboot has been revealed and these are the new faces of the characters for the upcoming Disney Plus series. Walker Scobell will play the titular demigod, Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. Scobell will be joined by Leah Sava Jeffries will portray Annabeth Chase, the demigod daughter of Athena who trains at Camp Half-Blood, and Aryan Sihadri who will be Grover Underwood, a satyr who becomes the best friend of Percy.

Along with the main trio are Jason Mantzoukas as Mr. D or Dionysus, the god of wine and head of Camp Half-Blood where demigods train; Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson who is the human mother of Percy Jackson; and Glynn Turman as Chiron or Ms. Brunner who is a centaur disguising as the Latin teacher of Percy. Other cast members of the Percy Jackson reboot include Megan Mullally as Alecto or Ms. Dodds who is one of the three Furies serving Hades and disguising as the math teacher of Percy; Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares bullying Percy; Timm Sharp as Gabe Ugliano, stepfather of Percy; and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, son of Hermes and counselor of his father’s cabin. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series on Disney Plus will be having eight episodes for its first season and Rick Riordan himself will be writing the pilot episode alongside Jonathan E. Steinberg. The pilot will be directed by James Bobin. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is scheduled to be released in early 2024 and it will be exclusively released on Disney Plus.
