Since then, fans have been wondering about what’s next for our favorite web-slinger in the MCU after the events of the film. While Marvel and Sony are reportedly planning to proceed with a fourth solo movie, we don’t know exactly the next step for the character’s journey in the MCU. Now, according to a report from The Cosmic Circus, the story for the MCU’s fourth Spider-Man movie is more likely to be in a “street-level scenario” just like in the comics and some of the previous films featuring the character. They also added that the film may also handle the aftermath of the events of the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again.
We do have to take note that this information has not been confirmed by Marvel yet so we have to take it with a grain of salt for now. Considering that the outlet has reported some accurate scoops in the past, there is a likelihood that this ends up being true. Considering that Matt Murdock appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home and both of them are New York-based heroes as well as the character of Kingpin is connected to both heroes in the comics, it wouldn’t be surprising to see if Daredevil: Born Again does actually connect to what we will see in the fourth Spider-Man movie. While it is hard to tell right now how both projects will end up connecting to each other, there is a precedent that we can go to and assume that there is a huge possibility for it to happen. However, since Marvel has not confirmed anything, we need to wait for any updates from them first and all we can do for now is speculate and theorize.
