However, it looks like the series will also be taking a trip to the past according to a recent report from Making Star Wars. They revealed that the series will explore different eras of Ahsoka Tano in her life via The World Between Worlds. The report claimed that we will see versions of the characters such as from the Clone Wars era and the final moments when we saw her in the finale of Rebels where is wearing magical white robes. The series also cast another actress to play the younger Ahsoka, aside from Dawson who plays her in the present day. In addition, they also reported that the series will feature another battle between Ahsoka and Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, who is wearing the same costume that he wore on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith. As we all know already, Hayden Christensen is reprising the role for the sequences.
We do have to take note that this information has not been confirmed by Lucasfilm or the people who are involved in the series so we have to take it with a grain of salt. However, as usual, it is likely that they will not comment on the validity of these alleged plot points. Assuming that this is all true, it sounds like the series is indeed going to be a character study for Ahsoka Tano since it looks like they will be tackling the potential regrets that she might be having from her past experiences and will give us an extensive view of her life. Whether this is true or not, it is exciting nonetheless since it is starting to sound like the series will deliver what fans are hoping for and will give us another awesome journey in the galaxy far, far away.
