Daisy Ridley can’t seem to escape the shadow of Rey (Skywalker) and it’s quite evident in her recent social media post that the franchise will forever be etched in her life. Taking to her recent Instagram story update, the 30-year-old star shared an equally endearing and hilarious text message she received from her mother Louise Fawkner Corbett. Like any supportive parent, Daisy’s mom was rewatching The Force Awakens and even called the J.J. Abrams-directed film “really really good”. What’s actually funny was how her phone decided to use autocorrect on the film’s main baddie Kylo Ren whose Sith moniker was changed from “Kylo” to “Kyle”. Ridley wrote: “My mum is watching TFA… This autocorrect kills me. Kyle!
