As per a new report from Deadline, Michelle Rejwan has been relieved of her position as Senior Vice President of Live-Action Development & Production over at Lucasfilm. She began her career as an assistant to J.J. Abrams before being given the opportunity to co-produce 2015’s The Force Awakens. Rejwan later became a full-fledged producer in The Rise of Skywalker and despite the negative reception Episode IX garnered, she was hired full-time as SVP and even helped oversee projects like The Mandalorian and most recently Obi-Wan Kenobi. The outlet notes that despite losing her SVP role, Rejwan will remain a part of the brand and Disney as a whole. In fact, she will now help develop upcoming projects for both Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios.
