However, it looks like Rian’s next outing is plagued with major issues.In an interview with Variety, the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery director seemingly expressed his uncertainty regarding the real status of his next Star Wars venture. He said: “Making Star Wars was the high point of my life and so I still, I pray to God I’ll be back there someday.“He did clarify that the project is still on the table but his packed schedule is preventing him from making his comeback to a galaxy far, far away. Johnson added: “I have talked to [Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy] about it and we’re still talking about it. I had such an amazing experience making The Last Jedi. It’s entirely a matter of scheduling.
