It was first reported on Deadline that Quinn is currently in talks of starring in the A Quiet Place spinoff, however, no deal has been finalized for now. Lupita Nyong’O, on the other hand, has been confirmed to be a part of the spinoff, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
Plot details are still being kept under wraps for A Quiet Place: Day One. Seeing as John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place franchise is expanding, it is no surprise that Quinn is one of the actors lined up in getting a role, as it is similar to Stranger Things in terms of survival. What do you think of Joe joining the A Quiet Place spinoff?
Joe Quinn debuted in Stranger Things Season 4 as Eddie Munson, also known as the ‘Dungeon Master’ leader of the Dungeons & Dungeons group, Hellfire Club. Crucified as the town’s ‘murderer’ of Chrissy Cunningham (played by Grace Van Dien), Eddie went into hiding, only to be eventually found by Dustin and his friends. Together, they go back into the Upside Down, where the root of the problem began.
There are no news updates yet as to whether or not Joe will be returning as Eddie Munson for the finale season of Stranger Things, but there are circulating fan theories on how he could possibly be brought back to life. In fact, the premiere title, ‘The Crawl’ implies that Eddie might be the one ‘crawling back’ to Hawkins, somehow surviving his death by Demobats.
A Quiet Place: Day One premieres on March 8, 2024.
While it is unclear whether we get to see Joe back as Eddie Munson in Stranger Things, Season 5 is currently still in the works and is slated to release sometime in 2024.
