In an interview with Extra, star Tatiana Maslany shared her thoughts on the finale’s divisive reaction from fans where she called it an “exciting notion” and respected the people’s opinion on what they thought about the ending whether it’s positive or negative. “I just want them to know that I feel like whatever you feel about that finale is great. I love that people have trouble with it,” the actress said. “It’s difficult for some people and other people are like, what a relief. I think it’s challenging in the sense that it just dissembles a lot of things that we know to be true, and I think that’s a very exciting notion.”
Just like any movie or TV show out there, it’s all subjective at the end of the day and each people will have a different opinion about what they experienced on how the show ended and the unique direction that it took that some may not necessarily embrace. At the end of the day, the final episode was still a huge success based on the overall responses and reception. It looks like Marvel’s creative gamble paid off despite the divisive reactions since there is still a significant part of the audience who was able to express their enthusiasm on the huge moment. Now, the question for fans is what’s next for the character and the show in the MCU. Will it get a second season? Will we see the titular hero on another project? For now, let’s just wait for an update from Marvel.
