The CW just revealed the release date for the final season of The Flash and it will be starting on February 8, 2023, so gear up and witness how Barry Allen and friends would face their adversities until the very last push of the season. Announcing via Deadline, the President for Entertainment of The CW, Brad Schwartz, expressed how The Flash easily became a fan-favorite, “The Flash will be remembered as one of the greatest shows in the history of The CW, and everyone involved in its excellent nine-season run should be very proud.” Schwartz added, “The team has delivered an epic final season, filled with plenty of twists, guest stars and surprises that will delight every fan. Now is the time to catch-up and enjoy this fantastic final ride alongside the fastest man alive.” The Flash first released in 2014 and its premiere episode remains to be the most watched TV show on The CW out of all the shows they have on the platform. The impact of The Flash over the years remains unprecedented and everyone who followed the show from the start knows how great of a series it is.

The ninth and final season of The Flash is set to have thirteen episodes next year, a shortened one compared to the usual 18-23 episodes throughout the tenure of the show on The CW. The Flash Season 9 is expected to pick-up from the events of Season 8 where the universe resets curing Iris from her sickness, Barry Allen as the new avatar of the NSF, Tinya and Renee reuniting once more, Mona and Dillio getting their powers back, and Cecile gaining telekinesis. Grant Gustin returns as the Scarlet Speedster, Barry Allen, The Flash in the final season of the show and he will be joined by Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Danielle Nicolet as Meta-Empath Cecile Horton, Kayla Compton as Allegra Garcia, Brandon McKnight as Chester P. Runk, and Jon Cor as Mark Blaine. The Flash Season 9 races to your screens on February 8, 2023 on The CW.
