The Law Cafe Episode 3 Recap: Kim Yuri Felt Guilty Following Jo Suk Joon’s Attempted Suicide
The third episode continues with Jo Suk Joon’s plan on jumping at the rooftop of Pureun Apartment. Thankfully, Kim Jung Ho (Lee Seung Gi) arrived in the nick of time and managed to convince Suk Joon by promising to end the case. At this point, seeing Jo Suk Joon almost ending his life made her feel guilty and thinks that she failed on her first case as a freelance lawyer. Fortunately, Kim Jung Ho has all the right words to say to Kim Yuri so she won’t feel bad about what has happened. At her home, Kim Jung Ho cooked something for Kim Yuri who is somehow still in shock over the incident. Surprisingly, Kim Yuri felt a strange feeling around Jung Ho. Initially, she thought that it was a panic disorder but the feeling seems different.
Dohan Construction Curious about the Webtoon Writer
While Kim Yuri gears up with the case against Dohan Construction, the officials were curious about the expose written in a webtoon. Although the writer did not drop names, the clues point to the controversial construction company. President Lee Pyun Woong believes that someone from their employee is spilling tea and exposing the illegal activities of the company and instructed their legal counsel to investigate the identity of the writer, which happens to be Kim Jung Ho.
Kim Yuri Teams Up With Kim Jung Ho
As Yuri passionately worked on the case, she asked for help from Kim Jung Ho who is a former prosecutor. Before he agreed, he confronted Kim Yuri on how she handled the case. After convincing the prosecutor to join the case, Kim Jung Ho planned a creative idea on how they will get the public’s sympathy and get noticed by Dohan Construction. Kim Yuri along with Kim Jung Ho, Park Woo Jin, and more uploaded a video where they tested out the noise around the Pureun Apartment. This is to prove that the building was poorly constructed and failed to add soundproofing. After getting thousands of viewers and gaining the public’s attention, Dohan Construction arranged a meeting with Kim Yuri to talk about the case. Due to probable cause that Kim Yuri’s team raised, the company promised to give the tenants compensation for the inconvenience.
