It was initially reported that Season 4 would begin production this year which took a lot of fans by surprise. However, according to a new update, it may have been pushed back. The latest issue of Production Weekly (via Bespin Bulletin) claims that The Mandalorian’s fourth season will start its production during the first quarter of 2023 at the earliest. While no specific production date has been disclosed, it would be safe to assume that cameras could begin rolling in January, at least a month before the premiere of Season 3.
