In The Witcher: Blood Origin Episode 4, it is revealed that Éile was pregnant with Fjall Stoneheart’s child. As the Lark reunites with Ithlinne, she asks the young prophetess to look into her child’s future. Interestingly, the girl’s words were not exactly comforting. “The lark’s seed shall carry forth the first note of a song that ends all time, and one of her blood shall sing the last,” Ithlinne declared.

So what could it all mean? Sophia Brown, who plays Eile in Blood Origin, told Gamesradar that she doesn’t know what to expect in the future. She did, however, point out that the ambiguous prophecy should give fans something to look forward to. “It was amazing obviously to leave it open-ended,” Brown said. “It gives me a lot of excitement to see us be the birth of a possible story that fans could latch on to. It’s exciting because there’s so much to explore in the Witcher universe and so much possibility.” Although it is unclear what the prophecy is referring to, there are speculations that it could be referring to Ciri in the main series, who was previously told she will bring death to the world. With that in mind, Eile might actually be connected to Ciri as well. For now, it has not yet been announced whether The Witcher: Blood Origin will get a second season. In the meantime, fans can look forward to The Witcher Season 3 in Summer 2023. All four episodes of The Witcher: Blood Origin are now streaming on Netflix.
