While the second season of the shonen anime didn’t start off as strongly as its predecessor (with some new characters being too cartoonish for fans’ liking), the show still features some really great acting. Who Is Fushi’s Voice Actor?
Fushi’s Japanese voice actor is Reiji Kawashima. Kawashima is relatively new to anime voice acting. Other roles of his include Patrick/Ricky from Shadows House. Already, this suggests great range as Ricky is an overconfident and arrogant character. Fushi is quite the opposite; he starts off with a teenage boy’s body as his main form, but he doesn’t have any confidence in navigating the human world. Reiji Kawashima did a great job at movingly portraying a character who slowly acquires both language and feelings. For the English dub, Fushi is portrayed by Jacob Hopkins, who also voices Katai from Komi Can’t Communicate. Here’s a sample of his work on that anime:
Who Is Kansatsusha’s Voice Actor?
Fushi’s creator, also known as Kansatsusha, is voiced by Kenjirou Tsuda, an experienced voice actor who has also recently appeared in Chainsaw Man as Kishibe and in Jujutsu Kaisen as Nanami Kento. In the English dub, we have Cory Yee, who also voiced Seishu Inui from Tokyo Revengers.
Who Is Gugu’s Voice Actor?
While a young child, Gugu is portrayed by Ryoko Shiraishi (Nana from YuruYuri). Older teenager Gugu’s voice actor is Taku Yashiro (also Kouichi Shindou from Horimiya). For the same roles in English, we have Erica Mendez (Kurena from 86) and Bryce Papenbrook (Hokuro from Ranking of Kings), respectively.
Who Is Pioran’s Voice Actor?
Pioran is one of the most iconic characters in To Your Eternity who acts like a grandmother figure for Fushi. Rikako Aikawa (Zenigame from Pokemon) lends her voice in the Japanese version while she’s portrayed by Dorothy Elyas-Fahn (Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) in the dub.
